The rooms of Ristorante Due Pini in Madonna di Campiglio

The terrace
It looks out over the peaks that surround Madonna di Campiglio and over the ski runs that come down into the village, among them the legendary Canalone Miramonti, home of the 3-Tre World Cup race. Furnished with comfortable, generous sofas and framed by mountain pines and low granite walls, it faces south–south-west and enjoys the sun for most of the day, right through to sunset. An intimate, separate open-air space for lunch outdoors — and, since the tables are heated, for a candlelit dinner under the starry Dolomite sky.
The Stube del Dom
A private, intimate and welcoming room with just four tables, entirely panelled in Swiss pine.
A short history
The first climbing parties in the Dolomites around Madonna di Campiglio date back to the late 1800s. In the early 1900s a group of English skiers discovered the beauty of the valley in winter, and a few years later Henry Cotton designed the first golf course in the Alps at Campo Carlo Magno. The stories and legends of the hunters of these valleys are lost in the records. In this restaurant we celebrate those pursuits: partly because they are an integral part of local history and culture, partly because they were handed down to us, partly because we practise them — and partly because they sharpen the appetite.
